Project Overview

M&E Group undertook a full-scale installation at Steer Kings Langley, transforming an empty warehouse into a fully equipped body shop. Over a five-week period, we delivered complete electrical and fire & security systems to meet the high standards required for Steer’s operations, ensuring compliance with premium automotive brand approvals.

Key Deliverables: 

Electrical Installations: 

• Installed high bay lighting in the main warehouse, achieving 1000 lux to meet the approval standards of high-end car brands.
  Set up multiple 3-phase power supplies to support essential workshop equipment.
  Installed EV chargers, positioned both inside and outside for maximum accessibility.

• Fire & Security Systems:

• Installed a comprehensive fire alarm system to ensure safety compliance.
  Supplied and fitted fire extinguishers throughout the facility.
  Implemented secure door access control and door contacts for controlled entry.
  Installed a CCTV system covering key areas, both inside and outside the site.
  Integrated a 24/7 police-monitored security system for round-the-clock protection.
